The crew at Iverson's work successfully together as a team because of shared values in business - Quality, Integrity, Honesty. With these values and a collaboration of each members unique set of skills, knowledge and expertise, the foundation for Iverson's was created and continues to grow.

In the industry of marine canvas there is often a lack of good design and service. At Iversons Design we are committed to quality and integrity in our craftsmanship and with our customer relations. We focus on the importance of good design both functionally and aesthetically. With this mind-set, we fabricate our work so that it compliments the overall appearance of a boat while at the same time fulfilling our customers functional requirements. We offer competitive pricing with honest and reliable service.

CONSULTATION AND ESTIMATE: Let's arrange a time to get together on your boat and discuss what it is that you want to have done. I will gladly spend as much time as is necessary to accomplish this, of course, free of charge. With my briefcase full of products ranging from different canvas supplies, stainless steel supplies, window supplies, pictures, foam, fabrics, etc., I will inform you of everything available.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE: I feel that it is imperative that a customer understands and is aware of all the types of materials available, their properties, pros/cons and applications. I enjoy educating my customers on materials, plus it makes me feel better knowing that the customer is making a well informed decision.

BEWARE: When getting estimates please be sure you know exactly what materials you are paying for. Materials contribute to large fluctuations in pricing.

THE DESIGN: Once material choices have been selected we can move onto the next step, design. In the design of your enclosure, dodger, boat top, cushions, etc., sometimes it is necessary to visualize the end result through drawings/sketches. Using these drawings helps me understand what you want.

FABRICATION AND PATTERNING: After a design is agreed upon I can begin fabrication and patterning. In the case of a boat top or dodger, I often encourage the customer to be present when I install the framework and make the patterns. While it is not mandatory to do this and sometimes not necessary, I feel that it is beneficial to the customer. This allows us to make some fine tuning adjustments in the angles of the frame work, position of supports and deck mounts, shapes of windows, etc.. A two dimensional drawing or visualization of the design is often enhanced with an ability to physically interact with its development. I have found that this process enables a customer to get exactly what they want out of the design.

FINAL INSTALATION: Only after the customer has inspected the job and is assured that all the criteria has been met, is the job done.
