1. Canvas dodger and full canvas enclosure on a Beneteau 35 sailboat.

2. The purpose of the this dodger and enclosure is to provide more useable space on the sailboat year- round. The client wanted to be able to enjoy the use of their enclosed cockpit on rainy and windy days while sailing or at anchor. Also, they requested a vibrant array of colors to be used in the design.

4. The results of the project were better then the client had expected. The use of Sunbrella’s buttercup color cast a bright cheerful diffused light in the cockpit which helped counteract the dark gloomy days that are frequent in the Northwest. The client had expressed their delight of this positive lighting attribute after using the sailboat on a gloomy weekend.

5. The client had mentioned that because of the addition of the enclosure to their sailboat and the quality of design, particularly the ease of use, they found that they used the boat more often.
